Cookie Policy

Effective date: June 7, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Troja, operated by FounderGem LLC, uses cookies and similar technologies on troja.dev. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy. Questions: support@troja.dev.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They let a site remember your actions and preferences over time. We also use related technologies such as local storage and pixels; we refer to all of these as "cookies" here.

2. Why we use cookies

We use cookies to keep you signed in, secure your session, remember preferences, understand how the Service is used, and improve performance and reliability.

3. Categories of cookies we use

  • Strictly necessary. Required to operate the Service — authentication, session management, load balancing, and security (including protections served by Cloudflare). These cannot be switched off.
  • Functional. Remember preferences such as theme, dashboard layout, or recently scanned domains.
  • Analytics. Help us understand aggregate usage so we can improve features. We use privacy-respecting analytics and, where required, only with your consent.
  • Billing. Stripe may set cookies during checkout to process payments securely and prevent fraud.

4. Cookies set by third parties

Some cookies are set by our service providers when they deliver functionality through the Service:

  • Stripe — payment processing and fraud prevention.
  • Cloudflare — security, bot mitigation, and performance.
  • Supabase — authentication and session tokens.

These providers process data under their own policies and our agreements with them.

5. How long cookies last

  • Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser.
  • Persistent cookies remain for a set period or until you delete them, typically no longer than 12 months for analytics and preference cookies.

6. Managing cookies

You can control cookies through:

  • our in-app cookie banner or preferences center, where available;
  • your browser settings, which let you block or delete cookies; and
  • opt-out tools offered by individual providers.

Blocking strictly necessary cookies may break core features such as signing in or running a scan.

7. Do Not Track

Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. Because there is no industry-standard response, we currently do not alter behavior based on these signals, but we limit non-essential cookies as described above.

8. Changes

We may update this Cookie Policy as our technologies and practices evolve. The effective date above reflects the latest version.
